As Richmond and the AFL celebrate Indigenous Round, there are a number of planned activities and events to showcase Indigenous culture, contributions to the AFL, and reconciliation.
Richmond will take on Essendon in the 11th Dreamtime at the ‘G blockbuster this Saturday night at the MCG.

Indigenous Round activities and events:
MONDAY MAY 25
Sir Doug Nichols exhibition opening – celebrating the life of the indigenous footballer and rights activist. The exhibition is open to the public from Monday May 25 to Friday May 29, from 10am-5pm, at the ME Centre at Punt Road Oval.
AFL Indigenous players dinner – the Korin Gamadji Institute will host Victoria's Indigenous AFL players for dinner, and an opportunity for them to celebrate Dreamtime week.
WEDNESDAY MAY 27
The AFL's Footy Means Business program (a football and career pathway program for young Aboriginal men) will be housed at the ME Centre.
Reconciliation Week begins across Australia (this date marks the 48th anniversary of the 1967 referendum to recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as citizens of Australia).
THURSDAY MAY 28
Reconciliation Victoria HART Awards at the Korin Gamadji Institute (recognising local governments and community organisations which are advancing reconciliation in Victoria).
FRIDAY MAY 29
Richmond open training - Friday, May 29, 10.30am-11am at the ME Centre, Punt Road Oval
