Ruckman Shaun Hampson and forward Chris Knights return to the Richmond VFL team for this Sunday’s Round 18 match against Coburg.
Hampson has played two of the last three games at AFL level, while Knights has missed the last two VFL matches with a quad injury.
In all, 16 AFL-listed players have been named in an extended squad, including all seven players named in the AFL squad.
The VFL team will be finalised when the final AFL team has been announced at 5pm on Friday (August 14).
Richmond is coming off the bye last weekend, and faces a Coburg side in the last game at the ME Centre for the 2015 season.
The Tigers’ former VFL affiliate sits one rung ahead on the ladder in 12th spot, and the Lions got the better of the previous encounter between the two sides, by 15 points in Round 1.
Sunday’s game starts at 10.30am, and is a curtain raiser to the AFL match between Richmond and Gold Coast, at 1.10pm at the MCG.
