Star Richmond forward Jack Riewoldt has vowed the Tigers will be back next year bigger, bolder and better.

Riewoldt is adamant the players will respond positively to last Sunday’s elimination final loss to North Melbourne at the MCG, and that the Club remains headed in the right direction to achieve sustained success.

“We’re really disappointed in ourselves.  We know that we’ve let ourselves down, we’ve let the Club down and we’ve let the members down.   But I can promise you that the players will come back to pre-season fitter than ever and ready to go again,” Riewoldt said.

“We’ve got a super inner-belief in this group.

“I believe in every single person that is inside the four walls of the football club, whether it’s in the actual playing group or in admin . . . I really believe this football club is going in the right direction.

“Just stick tough because we know we’re on a good path . . .

“It’s not going to be easy, but success comes to those that keep trying.”
