Richmond’s young players were put through their first official test of the pre-season today, with a time trial around Princes Park.

The Club’s one to four year players spent their second morning of the pre-season racing the clock, on a 3km circuit around the iconic Carlton gardens.

Emerging midfielder Brandon Ellis crossed the line first, followed by Kamdyn McIntosh, with rookie Jason Castagna in third place.

Captain Trent Cotchin and experienced defender Troy Chaplin also made an appearance, encouraging their younger team-mates in the final stages of the run.

Pre-season training continues on Monday for the Tigers’ young brigade, with the whole playing group assembling on November 27.
