In an overall disappointing start to the 2016 season for Richmond, the impressive form of Kamdyn McIntosh is a major positive.

McIntosh has been moved into defence in a bid to generate more rebound for the team, and he’s responded superbly.

The hard-running 22-year-old is averaging 21.2 disposals and 5.8 marks per game.

He is ranked 17th in the competition for rebound-50s, with 17, including a game-high nine in last Friday night’s loss to West Coast at Domain Stadium, among his total of 24 disposals.

Since overcoming a bad injury run, to make his senior league debut with Richmond in the opening round last year, McIntosh has played every game, and he’s added plenty of valuable run-and-carry to the Tigers’ line-up.
