For the first time in Richmond’s history, players will wear a commemorative Anzac guernsey when they take on Melbourne at the MCG on Sunday night.

The fifth-round Anzac Day eve clash will pay tribute to our soldiers and Defence Force, past and present.

The unique Anzac guernsey features the Anzac logo, Remembrance Poppy, RSL 100 years logo on the front of guernsey and the ‘Lest we Forget’ statement on the reverse.

This player edition exclusive guernsey will not be available to purchase.

However, the players' guernseys are being auctioned on the Club's website, with funds raised being donated to the RSL.

The Tigers and Demons began playing in the Anzac Day eve time-slot last year and will again go head-to-head to show their support in the 2016 season.

Sunday night’s clash will begin with a pre-game ceremony, including the Last Post and lighting of the cauldron.

Richmond encourages fans to be seated by 6.40pm, with the match kicking-off at 7.10pm.
