AFL LISTED PLAYERS

Jacob Townsend

25 disposals, eight clearances, three marks, two tackles.

Battled hard all day and won some good clearances for us.

Jack Graham

22 disposals, nine tackles, six clearances, three marks.

Our leading tackler for the day, he also gave us some good grunt work inside.

Oleg Markov

21 disposals, three marks, three rebound-50s, one tackle.

Gave us some real dash off the half-back line.

Jayden Short

21 disposals, five tackles, five inside-50s, three clearances.

Playing some really consistent footy at the moment, and gave us some good ball use off half-back as well.

Taylor Hunt

17 disposals, two inside-50s, one mark, one tackle.

Plugged some holes for us well by playing in the midfield and in defence.

Sam Lloyd

17 disposals, three marks, two tackles, two goals.

Kicked two very good goals and looked dangerous all day.

Connor Menadue

17 disposals, four clearances, four rebound-50s, three tackles.

Showed some great dash off the wing, two particular runs he made in important parts of the game come to mind.

Ivan Maric

14 disposals, 25 hitouts, four clearances, two tackles.

Tireless in the ruck as always.

Todd Elton

13 disposals, 10 contested possessions, four marks, one tackle.

It was good to see Todd fly for a few big marks, he continues to compete well in that area.

Ben Lennon

13 disposals, three marks, three tackles, three goals.

Dangerous as always. Kicked three on a blustery day, which was handy.

Tyson Stengle

13 disposals, five tackles, one mark, one goal.

Wasn’t quite able to break free. Looked like he was about to on a few occasions, but the Cats were putting a fair bit of time into him. He’ll learn to deal with that.

Mabior Chol

Nine disposals, four marks, three rebound-50s, two tackles.

Had a big battle with a couple of their talls, Wylie Buzza in particular. Showed some real fight all day.

Shai Bolton

Eight disposals, four tackles, one mark, two goals.

Was able to break free in the final quarter and kick a few goals, but didn’t have the influence he normally does.

Callum Moore

Eight disposals, five marks, one tackle, one goal.

It was a tough day for tall forwards, and Cal didn’t get as much traction in the game as he would have liked. Still managed to kick a nice goal around his body.

Ryan Garthwaite

Four disposals, three spoils, two rebound-50s, one tackle.

Had a good battle with Aaron Black. Showed real fight in the first quarter when we were up against it, and won some critical contests for us.

Jake Batchelor

Three disposals, two marks, two tackles, one spoil.

Gave us some structure when he moved to defence, wasn’t quite able to impact the game as a forward.

Shaun Hampson

Three disposals, 28 hitouts, two marks. (Limited game time – came off after the first half)

It was good to see Hammer get his first run around this year. Hopefully he’ll get a lot out of it.

VFL LISTED PLAYERS

Brandon Wood

17 disposals, five clearances, three marks, two tackles.

A little bit down today, but we know he’ll bounce back well.

Sam Darley

16 disposals, six tackles, two rebound-50s, two marks.

Good to see our captain get such high tackle numbers for a half-back. Put in a solid performance.

Jacob Ballard

15 disposals, three tackles, two marks, one clearance.

Worked really hard, but didn’t get the results he’s been getting in other games.

Thomas Silvestro

14 disposals, six tackles, three clearances, one mark.

Gave us immense pressure around the ball, which is shown in his great tackle numbers.

Daniel Coffield

11 disposals, four marks, three tackles, three inside-50s.

Had some good moments, particularly in the second half, but probably wasn’t as influential as he can be.

Shaun Mannagh

Seven disposals, one mark, one tackle, two goals.

Kicked two crucial goals in the third quarter when we needed them, which was great to see.
