Richmond midfielder Reece Conca will reach the AFL 100-game milestone in tonight’s big Round 15 clash with Sydney at Etihad Stadium.

It’s a significant milestone for Conca, who endured a horror injury run for several seasons up until this year.

After being taken by the Tigers with their first pick (No. 6 overall) in the 2010 national draft, and then playing 71 games throughout his first four seasons of league football, Conca managed only 15 of a possible 70 matches from 2015-17.

This season, however, he’s played every game so far and has clearly benefitted from that long-awaited continuity with his football.

Conca is averaging 19.9 disposals per game and he’s ranked 18th in the competition for tackles.

At the midway mark of season 2018, he features in seven of 20 key statistical categories among the Richmond playing group.
