Jack Riewoldt valiantly flew the flag for Richmond in its preliminary final loss to Collingwood.
The star key forward was the Tigers’ only clear winner on the night, kicking five goals out of the team’s total of eight in a top-class display.

He finished with 70 goals for the season, drawing alongside the great Michael Roach in equal-fourth place on Richmond’s all-time goalkicking list (607 goals apiece).
Tigers coach Damien Hardwick paid tribute to Riewoldt in his post-match press conference.
“I thought he was fantastic,” Hardwick said.
