Richmond has lodged an offer for Gold Coast restricted free agent Tom Lynch.

Gold Coast now has a three-day period to determine if they will match the offer or not.

Today (Friday) marks the beginning of the restricted free agency offer and unrestricted free agency period.

The AFL Trade Period will commence on Monday, October 8.
