A classic rover’s goal from Richmond skipper Trent Cotchin has been voted the seventh best goal of the year by Richmond fans.

With 30 seconds left in the opening quarter of the crucial Round 21 clash against Adelaide, the Tigers had a stoppage in the forward pocket, leading by 10 points.

Cotchin read the ball perfectly from the hands of the ruckman, gathered the ball while spinning in mid-air with his left hand, and snapped truly on his opposite foot.

The number six goal of the year, as voted by Richmond fans, will be revealed tomorrow, Friday September 19.
