The Richmond players are maintaining a positive outlook, despite suffering a third loss in the opening five rounds of this season, to Geelong at the MCG last Saturday.

Tenacious Tiger midfielder Anthony Miles told ‘The Richmond Review’, after the nine-point defeat at the hands of the Cats, that the mood among the playing group remained upbeat.

“Certainly, internally, we think we’re not far away. It’s just got to click soon, and I think it will,” Miles said.

“It’s just about chipping away, keeping the processes right at training, and continuing to keep each other accountable to a high standard . . .”

Richmond has the chance to atone against North Melbourne at Hobart’s Blundstone Arena next Saturday, in a crucial Round 6 encounter.

“We’re really looking forward to getting down there.  We travel well, we enjoy getting away as a group, and we just can’t wait for the challenge,” Miles said.

“It’s going to be another long week after the loss today, but looking forward to getting down there.”
