Richmond ruckman Shaun Hampson has been selected to play his first game for the 2015 season, against Carlton this Friday night at the MCG.

Hampson has been named in the ruck, replacing Ivan Maric, who has been suspended for one match.

Also earning a recall to the senior side is Steven Morris, who has spent the last two games at VFL level, after playing the first 12 matches of the season in the AFL.

Joining Maric as a forced out for Round 15 is Ben Griffiths, who is nursing a shoulder injury.

Hampson is coming up against his old side, a club he played 63 games with over seven seasons, before his move to Tigerland.

The 27-year-old played 11 games in his debut season with the Tigers last season.

The three selected Tiger emergencies for this Friday night’s match are Matt Thomas, Liam McBean and Matt McDonough.

Richmond’s VFL team plays the Northern Blues this Saturday, July 11, at 12.12pm. The game will be broadcast live on Channel 7.
