A double effort and calm finish from Corey Ellis has been voted the fifth best goal of the 2015 season by Richmond fans.

Ellis was named as the substitute in his fourth appearance for the Tigers, in Round 9 against Essendon in the Dreamtime at the ‘G match.

He had an instant impact when he was injected into the match, when he latched onto a loose ball on the wing, shrugged a tackle and handballed to Brett Deledio.

After a chain of handpasses between Deledio and Shane Edwards, Ellis, who had sprinted toward goal, received the ball 70 metres from goal, before running in and coolly slotting the goal to put Richmond 20 points ahead in the last quarter.

The number four goal of the year, as voted by Richmond fans, will be revealed tomorrow, Friday October 2.
