Richmond has made three changes to its line-up for Thursday night’s big Round 2 clash with Collingwood at the MCG.

Forward Ben Lennon, small defender Jayden Short and midfielder Kane Lambert have forced their way into the side that defeated Carlton by 43 points in the opening round.

The trio was rewarded for displaying good form recently at VFL level.

Lennon kicked a combined total of 10 goals in the Richmond VFL team’s past two pre-season practice matches (against Footscray and Northern Blues), Lambert has been prominent through the midfield, and Short a valuable contributor across the backline.

They replace Sam Lloyd, Taylor Hunt and Kamdyn McIntosh, who have all been omitted.

The Tigers’ three emergencies for the Round 2 match are Hunt, Ivan Maric and Anthony Miles.
