The four young Tigers have strongly pressed their claims for senior selection due to consistent performances at VFL level.

Townsend and Graham were the best players for Richmond’s VFL side against Geelong at Simonds Stadium last Sunday, both exerting a significant influence through the midfield, Markov provided good run off the half-back line, while Lennon was dangerous up forward, finishing with three goals.

At this stage, the only out from the senior Richmond line-up that lost to the Cats by 14 points last round, is midfielder Josh Caddy because of a hamstring injury.
