Richmond has made one change to its line-up for Thursday night’s Grand Final rematch against Adelaide at Adelaide Oval.

Rebounding premiership backman Bachar Houli returns after missing the opening round victory over Carlton because of a minor calf injury.

Houli, runner-up to Dustin Martin in the 2017 Norm Smith Medal, following his superb Grand Final display, comes in as a replacement for quality small defender Nick Vlastuin, who has been sidelined with delayed concussion.

“Neither Nick nor the Club’s medical staff were aware of any concussion issue with him during last week’s game,” said the Tigers’ General Manager of Football Neil Balme.

“It was only afterwards that he said he felt a bit shabby.

“We’ve been through the game, but can’t find any particular incident that may have caused his concussion.

“Given he had a couple of bouts of concussion early last season, and that it’s a Thursday game, we thought it was best to take a conservative approach and keep him out.”

Richmond’s four emergencies for the Round 2 clash with the Crows are Anthony Miles, Sam Lloyd, Jack Higgins and Ivan Soldo.
