Although Callum Moore was playing just his fourth senior game for Richmond, in last Saturday night’s blockbuster ‘Dreamtime at the G’ clash with Essendon, he clearly wasn’t fazed by the big occasion or 80,000-plus crowd in attendance.

The athletic, tall forward was a valuable contributor for the Tigers in their 71-point win.

He had 11 disposals, took six marks, with a game-high five of them inside the team’s forward-50 area, had five shots for goal, successfully converting two of them, and used his pace to apply pressure to the Bomber backs.

It was a performance that pleased his coach, Damien Hardwick.

“He’s exciting. He’s incredibly athletic, he’s got great power, great speed . . . He finished with two goals in the end, but he missed a couple of gettable shots,” Hardwick said.

“We think he’s going to be a player.

“He’s in the third year in our system, but he’s improved every year and we’re really excited.”
