A hallmark strong, bold, intercept mark taken by outstanding key defender Alex Rance, in Richmond’s decisive qualifying final win against Geelong at the MCG, has been voted the Tigers’ eighth best of 2017 by Yellow and Black barrackers.

With Richmond leading by eight goals late in the last quarter, Rance yet again backed his impeccable judgment, and put his body on the line, charging at the ball to haul in a superb mark over two opponents, repelling another Cats’ attacking move, before crashing to the ground and landing on his back.

The seventh best Richmond mark of the year, as voted by Tiger fans, will be revealed later today.
