There was magic in the air of the ‘Talking Tigers’ studio at Punt Road earlier today.

Richmond’s stirring success against West Coast at the MCG last Saturday was thoroughly dissected with a special focus on rising star Daniel Rioli’s magical Goal of the Year contender.

That act of individual brilliance prompted a member of the TT team to create a list of the top 10 magic Tiger players from the past half-century.

Other topics covered in this week’s Talking Tigers episode include a preview of Sunday’s Round 4 clash with Brisbane at the Gabba, disclosure of the ‘The Chief’s’ latest obsession, the ever-popular Yellow and Black Book specials, and a flashback to the opening round of the 1967 season, which featured the memorable senior debut of the great Royce Hart.

Remember, if the Tigers turn you on, make sure you turn on to Talking Tigers.

Richo: “I had Mick Molloy in the car and he was driving me mad…this is true, he hung his head out the window and he’s saying how’s that you Eagles go the Tiges”

Richo: “A dozen a weekend I’d have, so over 27 weeks that’s 324 party pies for the year”
