Richmond is mourning the passing of long-time coterie group member Tony Mangan, who was killed in a light plane crash in Mildura last Friday.

Mangan, a highly-successful businessman from the Mildura area, was a passionate, valued supporter of the Tigers.

He had been a member of the Club’s Richmond Executive coterie for many years and was an extremely popular figure at Tigerland.

“The Club was deeply shocked and saddened to learn of Tony's passing last Friday night,” said Richmond’s CEO Brendon Gale.

“Tony was a wonderful supporter of the Club and always keen to help out his beloved Tigers wherever, and whenever, possible.

“He was a larger than life character, who had a great ability to bring people together.  He will be sadly missed by many in and around our football club.”

“Our thoughts are with his wife Julie, his children Dylan and Ebony, grandchildren Zinea and Max, his extended family and many friends.”
