Richmond takes on Melbourne at the MCG this Saturday, and the Club will use the occasion to pay tribute to Club ‘Immortal’ Tommy Hafey, who passed away at age 82 on Monday.   The Club will honour and celebrate Tommy’s life in a pre-game tribute before the first bounce of Saturday’s match. Tommy Hafey Tribute

Richmond will pay tribute to Tommy Hafey in an on-field ceremony immediately prior to the opening bounce of the game, and fans are encouraged to be in their seats by 1.30pm to pay their respects.

- Tommy’s family and players from the four Richmond premiership teams he coached, will walk onto the MCG before the game to honour his enormous contribution to Richmond, and the broader football community
- Join in a minute’s applause along with Tommy's family, the Richmond premiership heroes, and the players from Saturday’s competing teams, to celebrate Tommy’s life.
- Fans are advised to be seated at the MCG by 1.30pm to view and participate in the pre-match tribute.

Tickets in all categories, including general admission, are still available. The Club highly recommends fans attending Saturday’s match to pre-purchase a seat or general admission ticket. Visit Elegance Tiles on the MCG concourse outside Gate 3 to test your handball skills against Richmond players, and pick up some great freebies including inflatable thunder sticks.

Richmond’s membership marquee will open from 11.30am outside Gate 5 for membership enquiries, member ticket collections, and member cap and scarf collections.

Due to the ongoing redevelopment of the Jack Dyer Stand, please note that entry to this game is strictly limited to 2500 people. There is no seating available at the ground (patrons may bring their own chair), and no undercover viewing areas available.

Richmond Museum

The Richmond Museum at the ME Bank Centre will be open from 9.30am. Entry is $5 for adults, and free for children.
