After the opening round of the AFL season there are seven Superboot participants at the top of the leader board, with eight points apiece.

The participants used their ‘Superboot card’ to receive double points, to gain an early lead in the competition that’s described as, ‘the Coleman Medal for the fans’.

Ranked No.1 on the leader board is ‘D. Petrie’. It’s unknown if this is the star North Melbourne spearhead, but whoever it is, they share the early lead in the exciting, new fantasy football competition.

Richmond’s dual Coleman Medallist Jack Riewoldt has been Superboot’s most nominated goalkicker across the competition. Normally a consistent individual contributor to the Tigers’ goal tally, Riewoldt played a different role in the thrilling Round 1 win against Carlton, out across half-forward, and he was involved more in goal assists, rather than scoring goals off his own boot.

It’s the twists and turns of league football that will keep Superboot participants right on their toes this season.
