Richmond’s VFL team will field 15 AFL-listed players in its practice match against North Ballarat at the ME Bank Centre on Saturday.
Among the AFL-listed players are Dylan Grimes, Aaron Edwards, Jake King and Orren Stephenson.
Defender Matt Dea will make his return to the playing field, following an ankle injury that sidelined him for much of the pre-season.
Another defender, in Jake Batchelor, also will have his first hit-out since suffering a corked calf in Richmond’s second pre-season game, against Collingwood in Wangaratta.
The game at the ME Bank Centre at midday on Saturday, unfortunately, is closed to the public, due to the ongoing redevelopment works around the interface of Punt Road Oval.
The works are being undertaken in preparation for the VFL season proper. A full match report will be available online after the game.
