Richmond father-son prospect Patrick Naish has been selected in the 2017 AFL under-18 All Australian team following the national championships.

Naish finished his impressive carnival with 26 disposals in Vic Metro’s loss to the Allies on Wednesday, further boosting his stocks as a potential early draft choice for the Tigers, where his father Chris played 143 games.

The dashing, skilful midfielder is one of nine players picked in the All Australian team from the Vic Metro side that won this year’s  under-18 title.

Also from Metro, Charlie Constable and Nick Coffield were selected in defence, Cameron Rayner, Jack Higgins and Dylan Moore were picked in the forwards group, and Sam Hayes, Lachlan Fogarty and Joel Garner were named on the interchange bench.
