Richmond has made four changes to its line-up for Sunday afternoon’s Round 17 clash with Brisbane at Etihad Stadium.

The Tigers have brought in talented, tough utility Nick Vlastuin, tenacious, inside midfielder Anthony Miles, hard-running defender Nathan Broad and developing, young ruckman Ivan Soldo.

Out of the team that lost to St Kilda by 67 points at Etihad Stadium last Saturday night are Sam Lloyd, Taylor Hunt, Connor Menadue and Tyson Stengle, who have all been omitted.

Vlastuin hasn’t played senior football for Richmond since suffering a shoulder injury in the Round 7 loss to the Western Bulldogs.

He was a valuable contributor for the Tigers’ VFL team in their victory over Casey last weekend, finishing with 15 disposals and five strong tackles.

Miles, whose last senior game was in Round 9 against GWS, has been a dominant player at VFL level throughout the season through his prolific ball-winning ability.

Broad, who played two games in his debut season of AFL football at Richmond last year, has been extremely impressive across the backline for the Tigers’ VFL side since returning from a long-term shoulder injury a few weeks ago.

Soldo, who made his senior league debut with Richmond earlier this season (and has played two AFL games all-up), is coming off a VFL game where he had 12 disposals, six tackles and 41 hit-outs, against an experienced opponent in Melbourne-listed big man Jake Spencer.

The Tigers’ three emergencies for Sunday’s game are Lloyd, Menadue and Shai Bolton.
