Talented, young forward Ben Lennon has been recalled to Richmond’s line-up for Sunday’s clash with Geelong at the MCG.

It will be just the third senior appearance this season (first since Round 4) for Lennon, who has endured a horror injury run in 2016.

The 21-year-old has been sidelined for lengthy periods with a severe shoulder injury, an ankle complaint and a couple of bouts of concussion.

He strongly staked his claim for senior selection with an impressive performance in the Richmond VFL team’s win against Northern Blues last Saturday, picking up 23 disposals, taking 12 marks and kicking three goals.

The Tigers have made one other change for the Round 21 match against the Cats, with key playmaker Shane Edwards returning after missing two games due to a calf injury.

Out of the side go tall forward Ben Griffiths, with a groin injury, and mature-age recruit Adam Marcon, who has been omitted.

Richmond’s three emergencies for the match are Marcon, Kane Lambert and Todd Elton.
