Talented playmaker Shane Edwards is a welcome addition to Richmond’s line-up for Saturday’s clash with Adelaide at Etihad Stadium.

Edwards comes back in after missing the Round 2 match against Collingwood because of a broken hand, which he sustained during the opening round victory over Carlton.

He has made a quick recovery and will provide the Tigers with a significant boost through his creative skills up forward, as well as in the midfield.

There are three other changes to the Richmond team this week, with experienced defender Troy Chaplin, talented, young forward Ben Lennon and the Club’s first pick in last year’s National Draft, Daniel Rioli, being selected.

It’s the first appearance at senior league level this season for both Chaplin and Lennon, while Rioli has recovered from the minor leg injury he suffered in his Round 1 debut with the Tigers.

Richmond’s three emergencies for Saturday’s match are Griffiths, Hunt and the Club’s second pick in last year’s National Draft, Oleg Markov.
