Medium forward Jasper Alger has earned his AFL debut, with the 18-year-old set to take to the field for the first time in the yellow and black in Round 15.

Alger, who was selected with pick 58 in the 2024 AFL Draft, will make his debut against the Western Bulldogs on Sunday afternoon at Marvel Stadium.

The teen brings a mix of aerial talent and ground-level skill to the side, standing at 183cm.

Alger has been dominating at VFL level in his first season, kicking multiple goals across the year to date.

In his first VFL outing in Round 1 against Coburg, Alger booted a goal and collected 10 disposals out at Beaconsfield, in the 13-point win.

A week later, against Sandringham in the come-from-behind victory, Alger kicked another two goals to go with 12 touches, taking three marks.

Against the Lions, he kicked a goal, followed by two more majors out in Frankston in Round 4.

He kicked three goals from nine disposals in the Round 6 win over Box Hill, followed by a goal in Round 8 against North Melbourne.

Round 9 saw him add another two majors to his tally, before kicking three goals and collecting 16 disposals in the Round 11 win over Sydney.

He has been prolific on the track in the meantime, earning the playing group's respect over the year.

The youngster has been dubbed a clinical finisher who is powerful on the lead and has trusty hands inside the forward 50.

He'll become the Club's eighth debutant this season, following Sam Lalor, Luke Trainor and Harry Armstrong in Round 1, as well as Liam Fawcett in Round 2, Jonty Faull, Campbell Gray and Tom Sims.

The Tigers landed Alger by trading a future fourth-round selection with Gold Coast on draft night.
