Richmond midfielder, Ellie McKenzie, has been sanctioned with a $1,000 fine for striking.
McKenzie has been charged with striking (fourth offence) against Brisbane Lions midfielder Isabel Daws in the final term of Sunday's Round 7 clash.
The act was graded as careless conduct, low impact and high conduct.
McKenzie can take an early plea and have the fine reduced to $600.
Richmond will take on the Adelaide Crows at IKON Park this Sunday from 1.05pm.
