Richmond captain Trent Cotchin will miss the Tigers’ Round 23 clash with Hawthorn after succumbing to a posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) injury.

Cotchin suffered a PCL ligament sprain to his knee during the second quarter of the loss to GWS on Friday night.

The 31-year-old finished the match with 31 disposals, a game-high 15 contested possessions, eight clearances, four inside-50s, five marks and 383 metres gained.

He has played 17 matches this year, averaging 21 disposals.
