Hugo Ralphsmith was a key positive for Richmond in its narrow loss to Sydney at the SCG last Friday night.

The speedy, talented 20-year-old, initially named as the Tigers’ medical substitute for the game, received a late call-up into the line-up after Marlion Pickett withdrew due to illness.

In his first senior appearance since cracking three ribs during the Round 5 clash with Adelaide at Adelaide Oval, Ralphsmith was a lively performer, playing predominantly up forward.
