Triple premiership forward Jason Castagna will return to Richmond’s team for this Sunday clash against West Coast at the MCG.

The livewire played in the Tigers’ first 11 matches this season, booting 10 goals before spending the past three games finding form at VFL level.

Castagna was brilliant in Richmond’s come-from-behind win against Geelong VFL last week, laying 10 tackles and kicking three goals among his 13 disposals.

Youngster Judson Clarke (omitted) and Dion Prestia (concussion) are making way for Castagna, while Ivan Soldo has retained his spot in the team.

The 204cm ruckman began last week’s game as the medical substitute but will get his opportunity in the starting 22 on Sunday.

Speaking to the media on Thursday, coach Damien Hardwick said the Club was pleased with how rucks Toby Nankervis and Soldo were performing.

“We are incredibly bullish on (Soldo) and are trying to get more game time into him, but it is incredibly hard when Toby is playing so well,” he said.

“(Nic Naitanui) is very dynamic and a gamechanger, but we are very fortunate to have two pretty good rucks going at the moment.”

Kane Lambert, Sydney Stack, Rhyan Mansell, and Jake Aarts have been named as emergencies, with the Club to confirm which of the four players comes in as the medical substitute 60 minutes before the game on Sunday.

The match will be broadcast live on FOX FOOTY from 2pm, with the opening bounce at 2.10pm.
