Three AFLW Tigers have been rewarded for their impressive seasons with AFLPA 22Under22 squad selection.

Young midfield trio Monique Conti, Grace Egan and Ellie McKenzie have all been named in the squad of 44.

Superstar Conti will be looking to be selected for a record fourth time, having been voted into the final 22 in each season since its inception in 2020.

The 22-year-old superstar, who last week finished in equal-second place in the AFL Coaches Association AFLW Champion Player of the Year Award and was this week named in the All-Australian squad, has taken her game to new heights in 2022.

Conti averaged 21.7 disposals, 6.2 tackles and 3.7 inside-50s across the 10 home and away games.

Egan will be vying for her first 22Under22 selection after making an impact in her return to Punt Road this season.

The past VFLW Tiger has cemented her role as a crucial contributor through Richmond's midfield, averaging 17 disposals per game to go with five tackles.

22Under22 is a fan-voted concept that recognises the best 22 players aged 22 and under for the entirety of the AFLW season. For a player to be eligible, they are required to have played 50 per cent of season games, equating to five matches.

Chair of Selectors, Jess Foley, and an internal selection panel at the AFL Players’ Association selects the squad, with support from Champion Data.

The final team will be announced on November 22 via the AFLPA's social media channels.
