Ivan Soldo’s decision last month not to pursue a trade to the GWS Giants and remain at Richmond, was good news for the Tigers.

The 2019 premiership ruckman not only provides valuable back-up to the team’s co-captain Toby Nankervis, but Richmond invariably win when he is in the line-up.

Among the Tigers’ current playing group, with 40 or more senior appearances, Soldo has the best winning strike rate – 71.4 per cent from his 49 games.

That strike rate just shades triple premiership defender Nathan Broad on 71.03 per cent from his 107 games.
