Richmond VFL recorded an impressive 50-point win in its third practice match of the pre-season, defeating the Casey Demons at Casey Fields in a scorching Saturday outing.
The game started with a bang, as train-on player Tom Burton took no time to make his presence felt, snapping from the boundary after the Tigers won the first clearance of the match.
Only one minute later, Jasper Alger kicked truly, following another clearance from Richmond via Kaleb Smith.
The Tigers took a three-goal lead thanks to the handy work from Alger, who had two of his three goals in the opening 10 minutes of the match.

Alger continued his early first term dominance, delivering the footy to Liam Fawcett in front of goal on numerous occasions.
Taking a one-goal lead at the first break, Jack Madgen's men were able to hit the scoreboard after confident ball movement, via Olli Hotton, who salvaged the ball, handing off to Nick Collier, who found Fawcett 30 metres out.
A goal to the key forward handed Richmond a one-point lead at the main break.
Mutaz El Nour remained calm in defence in the opening half, while Lachlan Street kept calm across the half backline, continuing their dominance into the third, as Richmond restricted Casey to just one point for the quarter.
Sam Toner set the tone in the first minute of the second half, kicking Richmond's fifth major, as the goals began to flow in the third term.
Tom Ferguson, Zane Greenham and Noah Roberts-Thomson all added majors to the board to go with Toner's.
Meantime, Luke Trainor showed his ferocity across the wing, confidently flying for marks and also tackling with prowess in the third term.

The Tigers took a commanding 26-point lead into the final quarter, and there was no signs of slowing down, as Alger took just 35 seconds to kick Richmond's next goal in the last term.
Goals galore was the motto for the final term, as Daniel Lowther booted beautifully despite the Casey wind, which was followed by draftee Zane Peucker snapping on a sharp angle, as the ball floated through for Richmond's 11th major.
Collier got in on the action late, kicking a super goal from 45 metres out, to stretch the lead to an impressive 52 points.
Alger was prominent with three goals, with support from Lowther (1), Roberts-Thomson (1), Fawcett (1) and Peucker (1).
