Issy Bacon's enormous efforts against St Kilda on Sunday have earned her nine AFLW Coaches' Association Votes, leading Richmond in the Round 5 vote-getters.

Bacon had 20 disposals, 12 kicks, seven tackles, four clearances and three marks in Richmond's 15-point victory over the Saints at Windy Hill.

The speedster also had five intercept possessions, two score involvements and nine contested possessions.

Alongside her in the votes was co-captain Ellie McKenzie, who collected three votes in her debut game of the 2026 campaign.

McKenzie, who returned from an arm injury sustained in the Australia vs Ireland game, had 20 disposals, five clearances and three tackles.

Speedy forward Emelia Yassir was awarded two votes, following her two-goal haul in the win. She also had eight disposals, three tackles and two marks.

Ruck Poppy Kelly also notched up two votes, after another standout performance in the middle. She had a whopping 20 hit-outs, 10 disposals and laid five tackles.

Each week of the season, the two senior AFLW coaches vote on the best players in their respective match, giving 5-4-3-2-1. The maximum votes a player can get is 10 votes a week.

The overall league winner at the end of the season will be crowned the AFLWCA Champion Player of the Year.
