Richmond ruck/defender Montana McKinnon has been handed a one-match suspension for rough conduct on St Kilda's Jesse Tawhiao-Wardlaw during Sunday's Round 5 clash. 

McKinnon has been cited by the MRO for the incident that occurred during the third quarter of Richmond's match at Windy Hill. 

The action towards Tawhia-Wardlaw has been graded as careless conduct, medium impact and high contact. 

It has resulted in a one-match suspension with no early plea available. 

Richmond will travel to Canberra this weekend to take on the Giants at Corroboree Group Oval Manuka on Sunday.
