Richmond is sponsoring one of the 50 Mali elephants located all over Melbourne, as part of Zoos Victoria’s ‘Mali in the City’ event.

To celebrate this event, the Club is running a photo competition for the chance to win a pass for you and nine friends to the Tiger Cage; the special stage set up in the MCG stands.

Post a pic of yourself with Richmond’s Mali on Twitter to @Richmond_FC, using the hashtag #MaliInTheCity, and you and your friends could have the best seats in the house to watch the Tigers’ final home-and-away game of the season, against Port Adelaide at the MCG on Sunday, September 2.

Mali in the City is part of the celebrations for Melbourne Zoo’s 150th anniversary, with 50 life-sized Mali elephants decorated by artists. Richmond’s Mali is a tiger-striped elephant called ‘Spot’, painted by Victorian artist, Steve Monk.

Spot is located in Treasury Gardens, not far from the ME Bank Centre at Punt Road Oval, and will be there until September 21.
