Dual premiership ruckman Toby Nankervis and promising young midfielder Riley Collier-Dawkins have both signed new deals with the Club.

Nankervis, 26, has signed on for three years, tying him to the Club until the end of 2023 while Collier-Dawkins, 20, has secured a fresh two-year deal.

Nankervis who has hit top form this finals series after missing a large part of the season with an ankle injury has played 69 games for Richmond since crossing from Sydney (12 games) in the 2016 trade period.

The big man has a 77 per cent win record since joining the Tigers, and will line up for his third AFL Grand Final this Saturday night.

Richmond General Manager- Football Talent, Blair Hartley, said Nankervis was an important signing for the Club.

“Toby has been an excellent contributor to our success since arriving at the Club, and is someone his teammates love playing with,” he said.

“We look forward to seeing what more he can achieve as part of our playing group across the next three years and beyond.”

Collier-Dawkins, a 189cm big-bodied midfielder renowned for his breakaway speed and clearance winning ability was taken with Richmond’s first selection No. 18 overall, at the 2018 AFL Draft. 

The youngster played 20 VFL games in his debut 2019 season, including the VFL premiership, and has been a standout in scrimmage games this year.

Though yet to make his AFL debut, Collier-Dawkins is highly rated at Tigerland, and has been named as an emergency on eight occasions in 2020.

“We are really excited by what Riley brings, and are very happy to be able to lock him in for another two years,” Hartley said.

“He has worked hard this year to develop his game, and we look forward to seeing him continue that in the coming years.”
