WISE Employment player sponsors Ellie McKenzie and Iilish Ross at Richmond AFLW training on Monday.

Richmond Football Club is proud to announce WISE Employment as a new partner of its AFLW program.

WISE Employment is a not-for-profit employment services provider with a strong focus on diversity and inclusion.

Through the partnership, WISE Employment will work closely with Richmond Women’s players to uncover potential employment pathways suitable for female athletes.

The employment agency, which has the vision to inspire, transform, and enable people to realise their potential, will also provide integration and support for the club’s broader diversity and inclusion programming.

WISE Employment will appear across several Richmond Media online products and feature as part of AFLW matchday and media opportunities.

Richmond CEO Brendon Gale said the Club was excited to partner with an organisation that empowered people through employment.

“We are thrilled to have WISE Employment on board as a partner and note the fantastic work they are doing in the community to connect and enable all job seekers,” he said.

“We are invested in helping all of our players to prosper on and off the field and this partnership will give our girls further opportunities and pathways to supplement their on-field pursuits.

“The diversity of our staff, players, and the communities that we work in is one of our greatest strengths we have as a business, so we welcome a partnership with an organisation with such a strong focus in this area.”

Strategy, Quality & Partnerships Executive at WISE Employment, Ary Laufer is looking forward to partnering with a club that embodies similar values.

“Wise Employment is not only committed to supporting and raising the profile of women in sport, but championing them in every aspect of their lives” he said.

“We strive to achieve diversity and inclusion across Australian workplaces every day, so partnering with Richmond is a natural alignment in coming together to help uncover possible employment pathways for female athletes.”
