Shai Bolton again showcased his superb skill set to help lift Richmond to a decisive victory over Brisbane at Metricon Stadium last Friday night.

The exciting, young, dual premiership Tiger finished the match with 22 disposals, four clearances, four inside-50s, one goal, two goal assists, eight score involvements, five marks, four tackles and 324 metres gained.

Richmond coach Damien Hardwick acclaimed Bolton for his impact throughout the Round 18 clash with the Lions.

“I thought Shai was pretty significant at certain stages,” Hardwick said.

“He’s such an important player.

“I think there was a brief period during the second quarter, it may have been, where we just couldn’t quite touch the ball, and then Shai started to get rolling a little bit.

“The way he plays the game is very dynamic. He brings others into the game from that point of view as well.

“So, we’re really excited about how he’s grown as a player and how possibly good he could become . . .

“He was certainly important in the important stages of the game.”
