Sheerin has been a revelation in her first two AFLW seasons, remarkably gaining All Australian selections in each as a dashing half back. The 31-year-old has also twice finished second only to Monique Conti in the Club’s best and fairest award. Sheerin was drafted out of the AFL Sydney competition as a mature aged recruit, where she was a dominant inside midfielder for the Inner West Magpies. At AFLW level, she has played predominantly in defence, but her midfield time has been steadily increasing. Sheerin averaged 17 disposals and five tackles per game in 2023 and was #10 in the competition for metres gained per match.
