Meagan Kiely was selected by Richmond with pick No. 48 in the 2021 AFLW Draft. The 28-year-old mature-age recruit from Tasmania was a train-on player at both GWS and North Melbourne, before finally making it onto an AFLW list with the Tigers. The former North Melbourne VFLW captain, who won the Kangaroo's 2021 VFLW Best & Fairest award, has played 18 of a possible 22 matches since arriving at the Club. Kiely has been deployed as a handy forward option and defensive midfielder in her time in the competition.
