Richmond will play Geelong in a VFL practice match at Punt Road Oval tonight.

The Tigers have 10 AFL-listed players who are scheduled to take part in the game, which is open to the public to attend.

Small defender Taylor Hunt will face off against his former team, alongside Liam McBean, Oleg Markov, Dan Butler, Todd Elton and the Club’s nominated rookie Jason Castagna.

Rookie-listed players Callum Moore, Adam Marcon, Jayden Short and Ivan Soldo have also been named in Richmond’s VFL squad for the match.

The Cats will bring some quality experience to Tigerland, with star skipper Joel Selwood and talented forward Daniel Menzel included in their line-up.

The match, which will be played over 25-minute quarters, provides an opportunity for the Tigers’ VFL squad members to showcase their ability before Monday’s VFL list deadline.

Both teams will have only 23 active players at any one time. They do, however, have the ability to sub players in and out at half-time.

Gates open at 5.30pm, with the match starting at 6.30pm.
Entry to the grandstand will be via the gate behind the Punt Road end goals.
Car parking will be available in Yarra Park, via Gate 5, at a cost of $10.
Food and drink will be available to purchase.
