Star spearhead Jack Riewoldt has become just the third player in Richmond’s history to win the Club’s leading goalkicker award at least four seasons in-a-row.

Riewoldt accepted his fourth consecutive Michael Roach Medal, as the Tigers’ leading goalkicker, at Monday night’s Jack Dyer Medal function, after finishing with 58 goals in season 2013.

Only Jack Titus and Matthew Richardson had achieved this feat at Richmond before Riewoldt.

Titus managed it twice – four years in-a-row from 1934-37, and five on-the-trot from 1938-42.

‘Richo’ also did it on two occasions – four successive seasons from 1996-99, and an amazing eight in-a-row from 2001-08.

Riewoldt received his 2013 goalkicking award from the man, who the medal is named after – seven-time Club leading goalkicker, 1980 premiership hero, and one of only two players in Tigerland history to chalk up a century of goals in a season (112 in ‘80) – Michael Roach.
