Gabby Seymour, Grace Egan and Monique Conti have been named as the Club's nominees for the prestigious AFL Players’ Association AFLW Most Valuable Player Award for Season Seven.

Voting for the AFLW MVP, Most Courageous, Best First-Year Player and Best Captain awards is a two-stage process, with players nominating their teammates in stage one before selecting from a competition-wide field in stage two.

Players cannot vote for a player from their own club during stage two of the voting process.

Superstar midfielder Conti, who was also recently named in both the All Australian and the 22Under22 squads, reached new heights in Season Seven.

The 22-year-old, who is a part of Richmond's AFLW leadership group, averaged 21.7 disposals, 6.2 tackles and 3.7 inside-50s across her 10 home and away outings.

Young gun Egan, who also featured in the 22Under22 squad, enjoyed her return to Tigerland this season. The former VFLW Tiger was influential through Richmond's midfield, averaging 17 disposals and five tackles per game.

Ruck Seymour, also a member of the Tigers' leadership group, continued to proved her importance to the line-up throughout the season. Playing every game this season, she averaged over 20 hit-outs per outing and was reliable all across the ground.

In other categories, Eilish Sheerin has been nominated for the Best First-Year Player after her stunning debut season, recently-retired key forward Courtney Wakefield as the competition's Most Courageous, and much-loved skipper Katie Brennan for Best Captain.
