Richmond has added five players to its extended squad for Sunday afternoon's clash with West Coast at Optus Stadium.

Twenty-three-year-old forward Rhyan Mansell is available to play after serving his three-game suspension from Round 13.

Ivan Soldo is a chance to take on ruck duties in place of suspended co-captain Toby Nankervis. The 27-year-old has built up his form in the Tigers' past three VFL outings following an injury layoff. 

Also in the mix to return to the senior side are young trio Judson Clarke, Hugo Ralphsmith and Samson Ryan, who were all omitted in Richmond's Round 17 team.

Hard-running Ralphsmith recorded 16 disposals, three marks and one goal in the VFL last week, while ruck/forward Ryan collected 10 disposals, five marks and two inside-50s.

Clarke did not play at either level as an AFL carryover emergency.

Richmond's activated substitute from Round 17, Jack Ross, features in the starting 22 after a standout performance against the Swans.

In addition to Nankervis, out of the side that defeated Sydney by 13 points last week is Jacob Bauer, who suffered a hamstring injury in his debut game.

Richmond will confirm its final team for the trip west on Friday night at 5.00pm AEST.

The Club will then name its substitute 60 minutes prior to the first bounce on Sunday. 

Sunday's game will be broadcast live on FOX FOOTY and Kayo Sports.
