A fit and fresh Richmond superstar Dustin Martin certainly made his presence felt in last Sunday’s Gather Round clash with St Kilda at Adelaide’s Norwood Oval.

After being sidelined in the previous round with a calf complaint, Martin hit the small ground full of running and was superb throughout the contest.

He had a team-high 30 disposals, eight marks, two goal assists, four score involvements, an equal team-high six inside-50s, three tackles and 474 metres gained.

Richmond coach Adem Yze was delighted with Martin’s performance, and is looking forward to the triple Norm Smith Medallist producing plenty more trademark, top-class football this season.

“We were rapt with Dusty. Having that week off, it was exactly what we wanted him to be – pain free and come in and play like Dusty can play. So, hopefully, onwards and upwards,” Yze said in his post-match press conference.
