High Performance Manager Ben Serpell was pleased with the side's resilient two-point win over West Coast and was encouraged by how the playing group pulled up after a hard-fought game.

Despite defender Jayden Short being withdrawn from Sunday's game as a late out due to knee soreness, Serpell is confident that he will play in Sunday's game against the Kangaroos.
"Shorty complained with a bit of knee soreness in the warm-up," Serpell said.
"We are confident that he is going to be available for training this week, and there isn't that much to that knee at the moment."
Similarly, lockdown defender Nathan Broad suffered a dislocated finger during the match but was able to finish out the game thanks to help from Richmond's trainers.
"I watched some post-match footage and we saw him getting it popped back in," Serpell said.
"He is a tough guy, Broady, but there is nothing wrong with his finger, it was just a bit dislocated, and he is all good now."
Serpell also confirmed that key forward Mykelti Lefau will be given the green light for selection this week, if he can get through a test. The 26-year-old has successfully recovered from his ACL injury, which he sustained in Round 12 against Geelong last year.
Serpell said he was impressed by Lefau’s recovery and is excited to see him return.
Injury Report: Round 10
Ben Serpell provides an update on the injury list as the Tigers prepare for Round 10 against North Melbourne.
Mykelti Lefau: ACL, test
"I'm happy to say that he just has to get through one more session, and Kelts will be available for selection this week," Serpell said.
"He will be getting a bit of game time, which is exciting for Mykelti."
Tylar Young: ACL, 1-3 weeks
"Probably about a week behind Mykelti is Tylar Young," Serpell said.
"So he is excited as well, and I'm sure the fans are very excited to see him out there."
Samson Ryan: Foot, 1-2 weeks
"Samson is progressing quite well," Serpell said.
"I think we will look after him over the next couple of weeks and make sure we do the right thing by him.
"Hopefully, within the next week or two after that we'll see him out there, available for selection."
Mate Colina: Knee, 1-3 weeks
"Mate is doing well," Serpell said.
"We expect him to be available for selection in another week or two after this."
Dion Prestia: Achilles, 1-3 weeks
"Exciting to say, contrary to previous weeks, that we can actually bring his timeline earlier," Serpell said.
"We are hoping to see him out there in the next one to three weeks. He has been training well and has been pulling up relatively pain-free."
Taj Hotton: ACL, 6-9 weeks
"Not really a huge update on him from previous weeks," Serpell said.
"We still think he will be back in six to nine weeks at this stage, but again, he is going to be more and more involved in footy drills over the next little while.
"We will see him in a non-contact hat for a bit, then we will take the non-contact hat off him and get him involved."

Harry Armstrong: Hamstring, 7-10 weeks
"Similarly to Taj, not much of an update on Harry, so we will just bring his return to play a week forward now," Serpell said.
"He is progressing well and getting a mountain of work done from a running perspective at this point in time."
Josh Gibcus: ACL, 7-10 weeks
"I'm really excited to say that we can put a timeframe on Josh Gibcus' return now," Serpell said.
"So we expect him out there in the next seven to 10 weeks, and I think anyone out there watching his training at the moment will see that he is actually involved in a lot of footy drills at the moment.
"He is working at a relatively high intensity, so we will get a bit of work into him over the next little while and look forward to seeing him out there playing later this year."
Josh Smillie: Hamstring, TBC
"Unfortunately for Josh, he came off the track last week with a minor hamstring strain, it's actually so minor that we don't even know when it occurred," Serpell said.
"We are going to spend our time with him over the next few weeks, developing him athletically and making sure that we are doing the right thing for him, not only in the short-term, but in the long-term future.
"So we probably aren't going to put a timeframe on his return, and we are going to focus on his athletic development over the next little while."
